FileFast for Firefox and Gmail

The same focused transfer flow in Firefox.

Use the Firefox sidebar for files, folders and Gmail without opening a separate upload page.

Designed for this platform

FileFast where it saves a step

01

Firefox-native sidebar

Keep FileFast visible beside Gmail or any other tab while the transfer is prepared.

02

Same upload workflow

Select files or a folder, configure delivery and follow one combined progress state.

03

Signed before public release

Mozilla validates and signs the package before it becomes a one-click installation.

While it runs

One transfer, one progress state

Whatever you selected reports into a single transfer, so there is one thing to watch and one result to share.

FileFast for Firefox and Gmail

Beside the message, not instead of it

The sidebar opens next to the draft you were already writing. The page you were reading stays where it is, and the finished link drops into the message when you ask for it.

FAQ

Before you install

Can Firefox install it directly from file.fast?

Yes, after Mozilla signs the XPI. A signed Firefox extension can be installed from our website without the Chrome-style Developer mode flow.

Is there a developer registration fee?

Mozilla requires an account and policy compliance, but the normal add-on submission flow does not use Chrome’s five-dollar registration step.

Does it read Gmail messages?

No. It only inserts the completed FileFast link into a visible draft after an explicit action.

Can it be listed publicly on Firefox Add-ons?

Yes. We can submit the prepared package for a public AMO listing and automatic updates.
