Post-production
Move the rushes without re-encoding them
Post moves more data in a week than most businesses do in a year, and every service that quietly transcodes on the way has broken the thing it was carrying.
A clearer transfer
Fast to send. Simple to receive.
Up to 300GB per transfer
Plus raises the ceiling to 300GB, and the limit is on the transfer rather than on any single file inside it.
One progress state
Two hundred clips report as one transfer with one percentage, so you know when the delivery is actually complete.
Review without an account
Directors and producers comment on a cut and approve it in a browser, without signing up.
Formats and volume
What a day of shooting weighs
Camera formats stay untouched
ProRes 422 HQ and 4444, BRAW, R3D, ARRIRAW, MXF, DNxHD. Nothing is re-wrapped or re-encoded, so what the colourist opens is what came off the card.
Interrupted uploads resume
Reselect the same files and the transfer continues from where it stopped, rather than starting a four hour upload again.
Structure matters for conform
Rushes, audio, LUTs and camera reports belong in their own folders. A flat pile of clips is somebody else's morning.
Proxies and masters travel differently
Proxies go out for review and masters go to the grade. Sending them as separate transfers keeps the review light and the master delivery deliberate.
Audio stems arrive with the picture
A delivery that includes the mix, the stems and the M and E belongs in one folder with the picture, so the dub stage is not chasing three messages.
The uploads that fail
A four hour upload will meet something
A closed laptop, a hotel connection, a lift. At this size the question is not whether the upload gets interrupted but whether it survives being interrupted.
Quick answers
Before you send
The essentials, without another wall of feature cards.
Is video re-encoded or compressed?
No. FileFast does not transcode. A ProRes master arrives as a ProRes master.
What happens when my connection drops mid-upload?
Reselect the same files and it resumes instead of restarting.
Can I send a whole camera card structure?
Yes. Send the folder and the card layout, including sidecar files, arrives intact.
Can a director comment on a specific cut?
Yes. Comments and approvals attach to the transfer, so notes stay beside the version they refer to.
Do you re-wrap MXF or change containers?
No. Files are stored and served exactly as uploaded.
How long can a delivery stay available?
Free transfers last seven days. Paid plans hold considerably longer, which suits a grade that runs over several weeks.
Try it with the next thing you have to send
